This privacy policy sets out the usage of information we take, record and store on our customers. Receipt of information is inevitable in some form, therefore if you are unwilling to accept the recording of your information, your sole recourse is to refrain from ordering any products or services from us. During the course of this document ‘we’ or ‘us’ refers to Assiva Ltd.
Information recorded
We will store information about you will constitute mainly details deemed as needed for contacting you. For example we will only record your name, any company you may work for, your contact address, telephone number(s), email addresses, and a password as nominated by you.
Use of information
We will only use your information for contact purposes, and to aid in the processing of your order. Contact is defined as user initiated contact, or where we need to advise you of a service update. We will not market information either directly or indirectly.
Assiva Ltd do not process billing information and therefore do not retain any personal data in respect to billing other than specific generated data such as invoices or payment status.
Transmission of information
Your data is stored on servers in the UK and the USA, therefore your information will be transmitted outside the EU, or traversely into the EU depending on the location of the user. Because of the stated usage of data, the sole reason for transmission is for storage. No data processing will occur outside the UK.
Third party access
Assiva Ltd are required as part of daily business activity to release certain information to third parties. These agents perform certain functions on behalf of the company, such as transaction processing.
Current agents consist of, but are not limited to:
- Paypal & Google for transaction processing
- Maxmind & Varilogix for fraud prevention
There may be occasions where a legally appointed body, such as law enforcement may seek access to your data. In such situations the data will only be exchanged in line with officially evidenced warrants, or whatever document is appropriate.
You may appoint a third party access to your account. This is an issue that does not concern Assiva Ltd directly and you do this with the knowledge that Assiva Ltd absolves itself of any responsibility should any incident or data loss occur.
